Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and JM Pursuitlab LLC ("PolicyScan", "we"). By creating an account or using policyscan.info you agree to them.

1. What PolicyScan is, and is not

PolicyScan uses software, including artificial intelligence, to summarize insurance documents you upload, for educational and informational purposes. PolicyScan is not an insurance company, agent, broker, adjuster or law firm. We do not sell, recommend, bind or change insurance, file or negotiate claims, or tell you whether a loss is covered. Nothing we provide is legal, insurance or claims advice. Your insurance policy and your insurer decide coverage. Talk to your insurer or a licensed agent before making any decision.

2. Accuracy

AI can misread documents, especially poor scans, missing pages or unusual forms. Reports may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for checking anything important against your actual policy.

3. Your account and your documents

• You must be 18 or older and give a valid email address.
• Only upload documents you have the right to share, such as your own policy or one you are authorized to review.
• You keep ownership of your documents. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break security, scrape, resell, or upload unlawful content.

4. Payments

• Prices are shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• A single analysis is a one-time purchase of one full analysis.
• The Personal plan renews monthly until cancelled and includes the number of analyses shown on the pricing page each billing period; unused analyses don't roll over. Cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• If an analysis fails for a technical reason, it is returned to your account automatically. For other billing problems, email us within 30 days and we'll make it right.

5. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including denied or reduced insurance claims or coverage decisions you make, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

6. Ending your account

You can stop using PolicyScan and ask us to delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new date above and email account holders about significant changes.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
