Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JM Pursuitlab LLC ("PolicyScan", "we") collects, uses and protects information when you use policyscan.info.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name.
• Documents you upload: insurance policies and declarations pages. These can contain your name, address, policy number, coverage amounts and premium.
• Reports: the analysis we create from your documents.
• Payment records: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and your plan, never your full card number.
• Basic technical data: log data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To read your document and produce your report, and to email you when it is ready.
• To run your account, process payments and provide support.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your information, share it with insurance companies, or use your documents to train AI models.

Service providers

We use these companies to run PolicyScan. Each receives only what it needs:

• Anthropic (Claude API): reads your document to produce the analysis.
• Supabase: secure database, file storage and sign-in.
• Netlify: website hosting.
• Stripe: payments.
• IONOS: email delivery.

Security

Uploaded files are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket and encrypted at rest and in transit. Only you can see your reports in your dashboard. Report links sent by email contain a long random code; anyone you forward the link to can view that report, so share it only with people you trust.

How long we keep it

You can delete any report, and the document you uploaded for it, at any time with the Delete button on the report. We keep uploaded documents and reports for 12 months after your last sign-in, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your account and all documents sooner by emailing support@policyscan.info; we complete deletion within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it by emailing us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor those requests.

Children

PolicyScan is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post updates here and change the date above. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders.
